American dancer and choreographer, Derek Hough and his dance partner Nicole Scherzinger have been won Dancing with The Stars season 10 finale show on May 25, 2010. Derek Hough revealed about his broke up with his girlfriend Shannon Elizabeth in July.
In the ABC’s Dancing with The Stars show Derek came into view on the fifth season with actress Jennie Garth (earning fourth place in the competition). He was earning sixth place with actress Shannon Elizabeth. He came back for the 7th season with partner Brooke Burke and won the competition. In the 8th season, he was earning fifth place with rapper Lil’ Kim. Hough was partnered with model Joanna Krupa during the 9th season. They were eliminated in the semi-finals on November 17, 2009. On May 25, 2010, Derek and partner Nicole Scherzinger won Season 10 of Dancing with the Stars.
Previously, Derek Hough dated with Shannon Elizabeth for more than a year. Shannon Elizabeth is former dance partner in Dancing with The Stars show and actress. Through Twitter accounts, Derek and Shannon declared their breakup on August 7, 2009. When Elizabeth signed on as a competitor for DWTS, they met.
Hough wrote on Twitter “Hi everyone, we wanted you all to know directly from us, that Shannon & I have decided to end our relationship as boyfriend & girlfriend…,” and Elizabeth wrote, “However, we love and care about each other very much and will remain friends and in each others lives,”
Hough also dated with British actress/singer/songwriter India de Beaufort for some years. During February 2010, Hough met up with British pop-star Cheryl Cole and during her visit to Los Angeles rumors spread about her that she was to be splitting with footballer husband Ashley Cole. On 3 April 2010, Hough was again seen with Cole at a Los Angeles hotel.
